Product Description

High Water Flow Capacity Pleated Filter Cartridge

The High Flow filter is suited for applications such as cooling water, pre-RO, and resin trap filtration. It is a large diameter, coreless, single open-ended, pleated cartridge with an inside to outside flow pattern. The filter's unique crescent-shaped pleat geometry, combined with its large 152 mm / 6 in diameter, reduces the number of filters and size of housing required. The cartridge is also available in a wide range of media types for other applications.

Key Features

  • Up to 50% smaller filter system possible
  • Up to forty times fewer elements to change out

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the primary applications for this high flow filter?
It is ideal for cooling water systems, pre-RO (Reverse Osmosis) filtration, and resin trap filtration applications.
What is the maximum flow rate per cartridge?
The cartridge supports very high flow rates, reaching up to 500 gpm or 114 m³/hr per unit.
What lengths are available for the CPPL600 model?
The filters are available in three standard lengths: 20 inches (508 mm), 40 inches (1016 mm), and 60 inches (1524 mm).
How does the "inside to outside" flow pattern benefit filtration?
This configuration ensures that all captured contaminants are held within the single open-ended filter, preventing bypass during element changes.
Is this filter environmentally friendly?
Yes, the coreless construction minimizes the volume of waste material during disposal compared to traditional filters.
Does this filter reduce system costs?
Yes, it can allow for a filter system that is up to 50% smaller and requires up to forty times fewer element changes.
